BRINGING MOMS HOME
I left for the hospital in the morning to see if moms would be released. She was still groggy but was awake when I arrived. She seemed okay, but said that her stomach hurt from eating the liquid food she was given. She had some broth for lunch, and then the nurse said she could go.
I drove the car to the waiting area and moms got in gingerly after being wheel-chaired there. She looked good and she seemed ok except for some of the pain from the laparoscopic surgery. When we got home, she refused to take any of the medicine because she said she was fine. She also knew that it was very strong and she was worried that it might upset her stomach.
She pretty much rested all day on the couch and didn't want to eat. So I just tried to keep her comfortable by turning the fan on and making sure she had everything she needed. My poor moms!
