THE EXES
I wanted to get up earlier than I did to eat breakfast, but as usual, I couldn't get myself up in time. Instead, I left around 9AM and ate a packaged oatmeal breakfast bar on the way to CBS Radford Studios. I got there early because there wasn't any traffic so I was actually able to put my chair away since we were seated in the bleachers.
The Exes is a TVLand show so it was this groups' first time out this season. It seemed like the actors had a lot of input during the takes, but when the director wanted something done, it was done.
The nice thing was that we had breakfast from the crew leftovers and also lunch from the crew leftovers. I got a chance to hang with "K" a Japanese lady who I have worked with many times but have never spoken to.
After our scene in the Italian restaurant, we were wrapped pretty much in the middle of rush hour. Rather than fighting it, I called Janine to see what she was up to. She was in the middle of doing some accounting but had enough time to have a little wine and cheese at the restaurant next door. We had fun catching up and we discussed her business as usual.
I enjoy talking about her business but I gotta say, I don't know how she manages to keep things afloat. She's got some ganas for sure and perhaps some other things I don't know about.
