FUTON REBORN

Man, I've had this futon for a really long time. I purchased it at some futon shop in San Francisco when I first moved there in 1996. It's followed me around, moving to each place I've lived, from the City, to San Bruno, back to the City and then back south to South San Francisco.

Then it came down to Diamond Bar and sat around for awhile. My nephew needed a couch or some place to sleep, so it was lent to him in Hollywood. He moved and it also moved to Palms, but when he married and moved to Brea, it came back to Diamond Bar. It again sat around in the living room until moms told me to get it inside the computer room where it always had a home.

I finally assembled that thing today. It was a hot afternoon, and anytime it's hot, it gets a little more frustrating doing things because not only do you have to do what you're doing, you're also sweating like a mother fucker. I had to clean it, transport it upstairs, assemble it, then position it. It wasn't hard, it just took time and sweat.

Afterward, I was in no mood to workout, but a schedule is a schedule and it was time for core synergistics. I felt tired, but once the workout started, it felt good. I sweated some more and by the time it was over, I was feeling out of it, like I needed to eat something.

So I got dinner ready and ate like a pig. I usually have a pretty good appetite after a workout, but then I realize a little too late that I ate too fast and too much.

The next step in my project is to start cleaning out all the boxes from the room and start trashing stuff. I just hope I don't start regretting the trashing which will only compound my general hesitation of dumping things.
