GOLF AT LOS SERRANOS

It was hard getting up since I didn't really get very good sleep. Thankfully, Janet cooked me breakfast so I had some fuel for golf with Binggoy and his friends Jovis and Kenny at Los Serranos in Chino Hills.

We played the North course which is shorter than the South course. But it didn't seem like the course was very well manicured, so when you were in the rough, it was pretty tough getting out. I came into the course wanting to play well and come out on top, but after a quadruple on the first hole, I realized that not playing golf for a long time makes it tough to play competitively. That and the few beers and rum and coke I had during play.

I ended up shooting a 96 which is somewhat embarrassing for me because I'm used to shooting in the 80s. But it was fun playing with the guys and letting go of the need to play my best is somewhat liberating. Besides, I still shot one stroke better than Kenny so I still ended-up fulfilling my goal and having fun at the same time. That's what it's all about.
