OH LECATES YOU FRUSTRATE ME SO

Had In-N-Out for lunch with the girls and moms. Then headed off to San Gabriel to meet-up with my friend who has a chiropractor there. We decided to hit-up the Monrovia Canyon Park trail that leads to a waterfall. For some reason, everything looked very familiar and it was only half-way through the trail that I realized I'd been there before.

Probably 20 years ago, my old friend Rick and I walked this trail when we were into exploring our surroundings. The walk up actually worked my calves and it was a little more difficult than I thought it would be, but still relatively easy. During the hike we discussed my friend's values and hook-ups and I don't think we will ever agree. It was frustrating, but I'm sure she was as frustrated as I was.

Afterward, we went to Baccali in San Gabriel. My friend doesn't really like Chinese food but I wanted to see if she'd like this place. She didn't and I took home all the leftovers.

Then we headed to Al's in San Gabriel for some drinks. It's a dive bar and there really weren't many people inside the bar, but we ordered some drinks nevertheless. My cousin Binggoy came over for a visit after work and he bought us the second round. We had some interesting conversations about threesomes, hugs (with and without boners) and happy endings. All-in-all a pretty fun time and this night was example that it's not always the surroundings, but the people you're with that can make life enjoyable.
