SUNDAY RUN - 6 MILES
After lunch, I did a little napping and tv watching. Then I went to Ace to get some keys duplicated, to K-mart for some batteries, and went to Vons to buy some spare ribs but they didn't have any. So I went to Albertsons and they had some that were pre-cut. Finally, I went to 76 to get moms' gas tank filled-up.
But then it was time to do my long run. Based on my current training program, my long runs happen just once per week to prepare me for the half-marathon I'll be running in early December.
It was cool and the first three to four miles were relatively easy. But then my knees began to feel it and it got harder and harder. I could say I felt a little bit of pain, but it wasn't terribly bad. But pain is still painful so it made me wonder if the pain will continue to increase as my date with the half-marathon gets closer and closer.
Afterwards, I had dinner and just watched tv.
