CAL V WASHINGTON

Woke up pretty late from being kind of tired from last night.  After lunch, I sat down to watch the Cal v Washington game, the first Pac 12 game of the year.  Then the kids came over with K. Noel and Amanda, while Karina brought her boyfriend Sean.

I like the kid.  He's clean, he's respectful and he's just a good guy.  Whether he's cool is something else to consider.  The bottom line is that they like teach other so I guess that's all that matters.  Later, Jared's girlfriend Marissa came over so we had a packed house.

Cal was favored against Washington, but they lost.  It was a pretty close game and only one touchdown made the difference.  Cal had a chance at the end, but the new quarterback couldn't close the deal.

I did a short run and showered quickly when I got back.  Then Karina and I bought some stuff at the Pomona supermarket so we could make tacos.  Dinner went well and it was pretty easy but it ran a little too late.  Oh well, at least it was good and it was cheap.  We fed ten people for just $40.

Then the kids wanted to watch a movie, but it was too late.  K. Noel had to get home and rest.  That was ok by me since it gave me the chance to party.  Jansen came over and I drove us out to Hollywood to meet-up with Ranjith and Jayhan.  First we went to a bar, then we met up with them at Eden.  Thanks to Ran who bought a table, we just walked in without having to pay cover.  And there was a bottle of whiskey for all of us!

Eden was a sweet club, reminding me of Vegas with a lot of people partying and a lot of club gear.  I ended up talking to a Polish chick who wasn't very cute, but hell, it was better than nothing.  After hanging out and drinking, we bailed and got home relatively early.
