CHIPOTLE IN ADOBO SAUCE

I took moms to the train station this morning since I wanted to get her car smog checked. When I got home from the ride, I cooked some breakfast, ate, then went back to sleep.

When I awoke, it was around 10AM. I figured I'd try to make it a productive day since I didn't have to work. So first, it was time to find a smog check station. I wanted to get the check done at the place I did it last, but I went through my Honda folder and couldn't find the place. Instead, I found an old place out in Pomona.

I called them and they offered to do it for just $35. So I drove over there and after it was done, I went to Cardenas, a Mexican grocery pretty close to the shop. I bought the ingredients for Pati's Chicken in Tomatillo, Chipotle and Brown Sugar sauce. It's simple to make and I thought it would be nice to make something different.

However, the sauce was way too runny and it was too spicy. Next time, I need to add more adobo sauce and less chipotle. I may also add less chicken broth as that seemed to add too much liquid to the dish.

Today was a bad poker day. I'd been noticing how well I'd been doing the past few weeks from Bodog and wondered if it was just luck or if there was something going on with the programming. I'd been getting really lucky lately with big hands and everything seemed a little too easy. Well, today was the opposite. Now it seems like I can't catch a break. Still, I'm playing well since I'm getting all my money in with the best hand but just losing to players who get really lucky.
