LEAVING SAN FRISCO
I was hungover and had to take a dump when I dropped Shirl off at work and bid her farewell. It was a fun weekend, but it was time to go back home. I texted Ginger that I was bummed I had to leave without seeing her again, but I'll be sure to stay in touch with her on Facebook.
I decided to cross the Bay Bridge to get back home rather than going through the Pacheco Pass. My gps told me to do that so I followed obediently. It was a refreshing change and I think it's actually faster. The weird thing is that it was raining and I remembered why I didn't mind moving out of the Bay and back to LA. I never really liked the weather up here.
The trip down wasn't too bad. I discovered that if you make a few stops along the way, you don't get as tired and it helps keep you from getting too sleepy. But I got caught in traffic and my clutch started to get bad. It's getting tougher and tougher to shift so I know it's time to get this damn thing fixed.
I got home before the game started so I was actually able to catch the first game of the NBA Finals. The Heat won pretty easily and it doesn't look so good for the Mavs. After dinner I just winded down.
