EATIN' AND POOPIN'
I didn't really eat a proper dinner last night, so when I got home, I was an eatin' machine. But first a shower to clean off the dirt from last night's fun. Then it was time to decide what to eat.
There were two packages of tofu that had been sitting around for awhile in the fridge that needed to be eaten. One was extra firm and the other was firm. I decided to fry the extra firm one in little squares. It's interesting how long it takes to fry these babies up, but when they finally did come out of the fat, they were nice and crispy. Actually a little too crispy for my taste as I do enjoy the silky texture of tofu. I made a soy sauce, vinegar, spicy pepper and garlic sauce to go with it and that was some good stuff. I also ate some leftover eggs and rice from yesterday's breakfast with T. Chit.
Then it was time for a nap. Not much sleep happened last night, so I was ready for dreamtime when I got on the couch. When I awoke, I was hungry again so it was time for an early dinner.
I fried up the other tofu batch, but this time, I decided not to fry it too long. The thin cut however, got the ends pretty crispy, but there was still enough of the tofu to keep it nice and soft in the middle. In the end, I think firm is good enough and I'd suggest cutting them into one inch square and frying just two sides. That allows for a squishy center that's just awesome for dipping. It's definitely going into my tapas menu.
I'm not sure why, but I had three movements throughout the day. It was like a continuous draining of my colon. I love that because you feel so empty and refreshed.
Then I pretty much chilled throughout the evening. K. Noel called to say he wanted to bring the kids over and I told him I didn't really know where moms was. It turned out she was playing mahjong with T. Cecile and the other jedis until 4 in the morning!
