276 HANDS

I chased. I admit it. I wanted to get that stupid money back and wanted to get to mid-90s on my PS account. So I played some limit and I played 276 hands just to get back to where I was. It took that many hands and at the end of it all, I still lost $0.51.

This lame amount of money and all these bad beats really pissed me off. As I've shown in my poker blog, limit hold 'em is incredibly frustrating. But I'm determined to beat the damn game because I know I can do it. I'm not sure I can do it live, but I know I can do it online because the vig is not nearly as large and because I've done it. I've beaten the game, but the goal is to get past $100.

I don't know why I get so pissed-off because it's only a number and it's not even a lot of money. Additionally, although I'm close to the $100 mark, I got there from a mixture of cash games and tournaments. So technically, I didn't get there just by playing limit. But that really doesn't matter to me. The goal is to break $100 and I'm determined to do it.

I'll bang my fist and yell and scream, but I will do it.
