THE SHED
I don't know how long I've dragged my feet when it comes to cleaning out the sheds outside. It's not fun because it's so dirty in there and I have a real hard time throwing stuff away. Things have to get really messed-up or disintegrate before I end up tossing them away.
But I've decided I'd had it with myself and am trying to be much more aggressive about donating things I haven't used for such a long time. I go back and forth between being aggressive and going back to my rat-packing ways. I'm not sure where this comes from but I think it's in my genes. Why throw things away if you might use them some day? And why keep things you never use?
So I emptied one of the sheds completely and swept-up all the dirt and cobwebs that were inside. It's so dusty in there, I noticed that I was spittin' little dirt clods when I hocked some loogies. That meant I was inhaling this stuff! Disgusting right? I remember when I was in the Philippines, I'd blow my nose and there'd be dirt because the air was so bad. Same thing here.
As I finished my project, all I ended-up doing was organizing the mess that was in there. At least now it'll be easier to go through each box so I can finally get rid of all this stuff. Instead of boxes upon boxes, I bought some shelves so now it's easier to get to each box. It's still going to suck to go through all of them though.
