ERRANDS & SHELVES

I woke up pretty early this morning but knew it wasn't enough sleep. So I went back to sleep and it's a strange feeling when you don't feel like you're really sleeping and next thing you know, it's like two hours later. I can't wait to save my money for that memory foam mattress I've been eying for like two years now on eBay. It shall be mine; it's just a matter of time.

After lunch, I drove to Ace to see if they sold any Christmas tree bags. They didn't have any nor did K-Mart or Walmart. So I had to order it online on Amazon. The nice thing about going around shopping today was that it was nice and warm out and I get to compare prices. I remember I used to do that with very inexpensive items and didn't realize that the time and gas spent probably ended-up making everything even.

K-Mart was the only store that still had Christmas items. The other ones cleaned them out. It's a good thing K-Mart lags because I was able to take advantage of some gift wrapping and some Christmas cards that were 90% off. A $7 item was less than a buck. I love deals like this and will try to take advantage of this next year. I think the tree needs some new ornaments.

Ace also had a sale but on shelving units. It was also a good sale because the units I purchased are normally $50 but I got them for $30. Since I bought two of them, I saved $40! There's a show on tv about super coupon people and I would like to try to be one of them for like a month. It's amazing how these people can save so much money. I want to learn how to do it.

Then I went for a run and it was nice to see that my calf is pretty much healed. It didn't feel sore at all and I was even able to put some stress on it. A two mile road run is definitely very different from a two mile track run, so I'll have to keep that in mind as I train for my event.
