WEDDING DAY
To stay true to my workout schedule, I decided to go for a two mile run. It was fairly easy but these light workouts will probably end in a week or two, I decided to keep it easy initially just so I wouldn't get super sore and not want to workout at all.
Im actually writing this on an iPad the day after the wedding since I was just way too tired having got home about 3am last night/morning. iPad makes it a pain to use apostrophes so that is why I will attempt to not use then at all.
Anyway, I got to Turnip Rose about twenty minutes after 1pm. The groomsmen got a room to hangout in and the staff stocked it with beer and soft drinks. It was great but too tempting to drink continuously. After a drink or two, we started taking pictures around the building. They were pretty fun because we got to do some men in black and reservoir dogs type stuff.
Later, we took pictures with the bridesmaids and I felt bad for them because it was cold and their dresses were so short. Then it was just a matter of waiting for the guests to arrive. That was when Matt and I decided we should go out and purchase some gin and vodka rather than buying drinks at the bar.
The wedding ceremony was beautiful and nice and short. I dont know if I'm on my period but there were moments during the ceremony when I teared up. For some reason anytime I see people crying, I feel like crying. So when I saw that the bride and grooms parents were tearing up, I started to as well.
The food was delicious, the party was fun and it was good seeing all our friends. The only thing i regret was leaving the party to get drinks just when the party was really going. By the time i got back, the dance floor was dead and the ladies were gone.
After all was said and done, some of us went to Chateau for a Sri Lankin girls birthday. It was fun but I was too tired and had too much drink to really have some.
