NIECES' BIRTHDAY
It was my nieces' birthday today. When I woke-up, my nephew opened my bedroom door to see if I was going to his Grammy's. I told him a little about the wedding, but I was essentially dog tired. The mind was willing to workout, but the body was weak. I was a little hungover, but mostly didn't have any motivation to do any work.
After lunch, I tried to nap but it was pretty useless. When I got to West Covina for the party, I was still tired. That didn't stop me from having a drink. I figured it might help me and it did a little.
But once I had some of the delicious dinner, it was back to the couch for a sort of trans-state. It wasn't exactly a nap, but it wasn't exactly full consciousness. It was a dream state and when I woke up, I didn't feel so good. It was like someone woke me up out of a deep sleep and I was in no mood to be woken up. I felt hot and started sweating a little and it took a few minutes to feel normal again. I think it was basically a lack of sleep.
I feel bad about not working out, but I'd rather rest and have a more intense workout tomorrow than do something half-assed tonight. I'm actually looking forward to a restful sleep tonight.
