CALIFORNICATION #3
It seems like everytime I call Joey's List to list myself as available to work, I get booked more often than when I list myself online. I don't know, maybe it's just a coincidence, but I think I'm just going to call more often.
I was booked as a stand-in for "Kid #1". I wondered how I could be booked as a kid, but when I arrived on location in front of a market in Marina Del Rey, I realized what it meant. The scene had two street kids getting into a confrontation with David Duchovny's character. It was my first time as a stand-in so I was a little nervous, but it turned out to be as easy as I thought. I wasn't as gangsta lookin' as Kid #1 but I was his height and probably weight, thus allowing me to understand how I got the job.
It was a fun day since I got to bullshit most of the time with the two other stand-ins. One guy, Sang, who I see everywhere was the stand-in for the store owner and Joey Reinert was the stand-in for Kid #2. Joey was in the reality show "Tool Academy" so he was able to share really interesting insights into the world of reality.
Jansen told me he wanted to watch Transformers 2, but I got out too late and wasn't able to watch the midnight showing.
