WHITNEY
I was kind of psyched to work on Whitney because I always like working on new shows. I drove to CBS Radford and made my way to the stage. For some reason, there were quite a bit of folks. The scene had friends and relatives of the newly engaged couple. One guy was Alec Baldwin's assistant on 30 Rock, Maulik Pancholy so there were than a few Indians doing background.
We shot the scene in what was supposed to be a bar. The extras I worked with were pretty nice so it made the day move faster than normal. We all wondered if it would be a walkaway lunch or if we could finish our scenes before the break.
Unfortunately, we indeed broke for lunch, so I visited the commissary to see if they would have the tamales I fell in love with some time ago. They didn't so I ordered the chicken tenders and fries instead. They were horrible. By the time I sat down, the chicken was already cold. And they were dry. I felt ripped off, but at least I didn't go hungry.
We wrapped up the scene after lunch and that was that.
