LONG RUN TO CAL POLY

I decided to skip some weeks in the marathon training program and go up in distance today.  I ran to Cal Poly Pomona basically and I was surprised how good I felt running up the hills.  The timing was perfect because it was after a rain and just before another round of rain.  Even going up Steep Canyon wasn't really hard even though it was the 9th mile.  I didn't run all the way though.  There were a few times I stopped at the stop light and I noticed that a little break made a world of a difference with my knees.

The damn ants were back today so I purchased OrangeGuard and some Ortho for use on the outside.  OrangeGuard kicked ass, totally killing the ants on contact.  It didn't have a terrible smell that gives me a headache and is pretty natural, using citrus peel to kill the bastards.

I stayed up trying to find out where the ants were coming from, but my call-time for Whitney tomorrow isn't until 9AM anyway, so it shouldn't be too hard lacking a few hours of sleep.
