CLEAN UP BEFORE PAUL COMES IN

We spent the day cleaning the house before Paul's arrival.  I'd already cleaned the hardwood floors and polished them, so I spent much of my time vacuuming the carpets.  Jared and I also spent a bunch of time cleaning the chairs that are part of the dining room set.  They were filthy, so we finally cleaned them and they look great.

I was surprised to see that I didn't have a run scheduled for the day.  It was a rest day for some reason, probably due to the long run that's scheduled for tomorrow.  10 miles!  Eeps!  But I still felt like I did a little bit of cardio because I always sweat a little when I vacuum.

I just chilled while Jared left to go hang out with Marissa.  So when he got back, he was kind of stressing over college and his future.  The poor kid, I don't know what to tell him but just go with the flow and experience what life has to offer you.  He's worried about disappointing people and I can only tell him to just try and live his life.  We kicked back a bit and he crashed immediately, while I worried (and watched Don Glover do stand-up on Comedy Central) about waking up early enough to run my ten miles tomorrow.
