CHILDRENS HOSPITAL

My call time was pretty late today which was a good thing. It allowed me to get my oil changed at Midas. Nitin Patel made room for me and did his usual thing. He recommended a brake fluid change and a power steering fluid change. Of course, their $90 each. He saw the look on my face and said think about it and maybe we can do it next time you come in. Oddly, the tech didn't say anything about my struts.

After lunch, I headed out to Van Nuys. The location was the same place that Hawthorne was shot so at least I knew how to get out there. What sucked was that the rate was low, just $114/8. When I got there, someone said that the show is just 15 minutes long, so then we didn't feel so bad about the rate.

We did a rehearsal then broke for lunch. We all played crew members for a show within a show. It was one of those long, no-cut walk and talks, so when it was time to shoot, we did take after take after take. That kept us working until 11:40PM and a few people had to stay longer. I was glad not to have been chosen to stay because my call time for NCIS LA tomorrow is pretty early.
