HAWTHORNE #5

I only worked on a quick scene the entire time, but at least I got to work. The last two times I've worked this show, I didn't get used at all. It seems like such a waste, but a lot of the other background folks didn't get to work and they wondered what it was all about. I guess they don't mind distributing money to background actors because it sure seems like we don't do much work on this show.

We were wrapped around the same time that my old student Alex (or Munchie as he's known) was getting out of work at UCLA. He now works for a company that uses technology to help hospital workers locate items they need for their work. So we met in Santa Monica and walked over to a cantina for some drinks. The waitress told us the best deal was the giant margaritas, but we should have asked how much they were because they ended up being $18!! They were good though and they used Patron so I guess I couldn't complain that much.

Afterward, we walked over to his co-worker and roommate's friend's place in Santa Monica. These are recently graduated kids, so I was easily the oldest there, but everytime I walk into a room with young folks, they always think I'm the same age. Anyway, we started blowin' trees and drinking, but after some time, I told them I had to get going because of family responsibilities tomorrow.
