CHILLIN' WITH MARITESS

My cousin from Philly and I kicked it in the afternoon today. She'll be leaving this weekend, and we decided we should hang out before she left. I picked her up at my uncle's house and we left for Albertson's so she could pick up some medication from the pharmacy. Meanwhile, I went shopping for some ginger, corn and mangos.

Then we drove off to find something to drink. Our first stop was Diamond Bar SuperHMart area to look for some boba. There was no real boba place so we ended up at Lollicup where I first wanted to go. It wasn't as hot as I thought it would be there, so we just chilled there and talked about life and other things.

Then I took her to T. Fe's house where she would be having dinner with some of the other cousins. T. Fe shared some interesting stories with me. She said she was very close to my dad and that they were supposed to go to Las Vegas that day. She wondered why he hadn't called Saturday and that is when she received the call from my mom. She had even taken the day off on Monday since they would be there for a few days.

Another interesting thing she told me was how much my dad loved my mom and couldn't get over her. He'd rather kill her and I guess that's why he bought the gun. I thought he bought it to kill her boyfriend, but who knows? It never happened though, and I thank T. Fe for calming him down enough to let him let go.
