NEWSREADERS
This program is a spin-off of Children's Hospital which is shown on Adult Swim on the Cartoon Network. I'd been on Children's Hospital once so it was fun to work on the spin-off.
I'm not sure what it's about exactly, but it seems like there's some kind of news related programming on it. The scene took place inside an airport so we got to shoot where Airport! was shot, at Air Hollywood, a stage devoted to anything airport related. They had fake parts of the inside of the plane, to the walkway to the actual check-in area. It was pretty cool.
The crew seemed young and inexperienced, but all-in-all, it was a decent shoot. We spent a lot of time in holding, but when I got to work as a Skycap, they had me walking around pushing a wheelchair or just doing simple crosses.
It was the first time I'd had some decent overtime in a very long time.
