STAGECOACH TICKETS SOLD

I spent some of the morning working out the contract with Nikita. I'm confident that I won't get ripped off, but if I do, at least I have those emails to help me should we go to court.

I bought Stagecoach tickets to sell for a profit, but I got so freaked out from the difficulties of selling the Coachella tickets, I was trying to dump them. Even at $240, only one person ended up calling me, Burke Roble.

It turned out he was working masonry in the Country estates here in Diamond Bar. He bought all four of them from me and when I looked at my profits, I only made $38. That's just a 5% gain from the $920 initial investment. I'm not sure I want to be in the scalp game. On second thought, it's probably better to just buy tickets for a regular concert since you don't have to plan so much like you do at Coachella or Stagecoach.

I pretty much relaxed when I got home. I thought about getting a haircut, but as usual, I got lazy and decided to just chill. All that stress from selling the tickets made me realize I'm not really used to stress anymore.

I did some laundry so I'd have some things to wear at the concert, but I wish I had more things. I really need to save some money for clothes.

STRESSED FROM COACHELLA TICKETS

I spent the day putting up Coachella tickets for sale and stressing out because I was worried no one would buy them. Jansen advised me to buy four tickets because we would be able to sell them for a profit and pay for our concert. Instead, there is a huge glut of tickets that people are trying to sell. But due to the two weekend format, they've figured out that there will be less demand for scalped tickets and they were right.

But thank goodness Nikita Johnson came to my rescue. She wanted two tickets initially and I was going to sell them at a loss. But then I gave her a deal. Buy them off me for face value and you can pay later. At least this way, I'm not losing money and at this point, that's what I really wanted. Ideally, I would probably not pay $330+ to watch musicians with tens of thousands of others. However, I have to experience this concert so I can at least say I did it. Will it be worth it? I don't know. We'll see.

The plan is to sell some of Andy's stuff and try to make some money back. Hopefully it will be easier than it sounds.

Anyway, I felt so good about selling my tickets that it was party time. I picked Jared up from Corona and we went to FOCus at Tapas in Newport Beach again. He hooked up with some Korean chick and that was fuckin' cool. I was proud of him and I was glad I was able to push him around and convince him to not be a little bitch. As for me, I did the usual. I walked around, looked around, and didn't talk much with anyone.

I had to drive Jared all the way back to Corona and then drive home. But in the end, if we hadn't done it, he would never have met this Korean with bad breath.

POKER IN BREA

K. Paul and moms went to Pechanga, but I was too tired from staying up last night to go. So I spent the day playing Call of Duty

DO NOTHING

Talk about a day of doing nothing. Maybe I was tired from last night, but maybe I was just lazy or maybe I just played too much Call of Duty. Whatever it was, around 5PM, I got really sleepy and so I ended up falling asleep until moms got home. Then we had dinner and then I went upstairs to download more of the episodes I'd worked on and more online poker.
POTLUCK AT JANSEN'S

I didn't do a lot during the day. Just played some Call of Duty. Then I headed out to Jansen's. First stop was Albertson's since I had to buy some ingredients for the rigatoni recipe I saw on The Chew. I'd forgotten to buy ground beef, so I actually had to go back out to Albertson's in Brea to pick some up.

Then I got started. At the end of it all, my meat was super overcooked and there was hardly any sauce. I felt like I was missing a lot of stuff. There wasn't much flavor, but hey, it's the first time I tried the recipe, so it's all about trying to make it better the next time.

Everyone else came over later and there was lots of eating, drinking and other fun activities.

DO NOTHING DAY

Jansen had to go home today because Jude was sick and he asked if I wanted to hang out. I told him I had a few things to do, but I'm not sure what they are really.

All I did was watch some stuff on Netflix and play Call of Duty. The only thing meaningful that I did today was pick up a free large 1-topping pizza from Pizza Hut. They had a free pizza day on Facebook and all you had to do was show them the post on your device. Easy Peasy.

After dinner, I just played some online poker and downloaded a few episodes that I'd worked on in 2009.

JUST A FEW THINGS TO DO

There were a few things I felt like I had to do today.

One was to work on the compost. I put some of the grass that was cut this weekend in the bin and added some water. It's strange that even though I wasn't really getting that dirty, all that grass flying around makes you feel like you've rolled around in the hay.

The other thing I did was reset the free water sprinkler heads that I qualified for. I had already printed everything out, but have been so lazy about going to Upland to pick up the heads that they expired. So I extended the expiration date to the end of this month.

The rest of the time was spent waiting for my Stagecoach tickets to arrive. They finally did after the fourth delivery. I hope I can sell them.

Then it was just Call of Duty and poker at night.

EASTER AT K. NOEL'S

We went to have lunch at K. Noel's. Pretty kick back. We went to a new restaurant that served cowboy/Southern style food. I had chicken fried steak. It was good, but nothing fancy.

Then we just hung out at the house. I fell asleep watching the Masters. What an ending. Bubba Watson ended up winning and what a shot on the 10th hole of the second sudden death hole. Poor Oosthuizen came up short. But he's won a major so he'll probably win another one again someday. This was Bubba's first.

When Jared got home from work, we ate dinner. Corned beef and cabbage with green bean sides and pasta salad. Yummy. And for dessert we had two kinds of pies - strawberry and apple.

There was a ton of traffic on the way home on both the 15 and 91 freeways. But as soon as we got to the 71, it was clear sailing.

OLD MEN KICKIN' IT

Rather than going out to King King's grand re-opening and partying with Tam and her co-workers, I decided I would just chill at Jansen's since I have to wake up early tomorrow for Easter at K. Noel's.

We didn't do much at his place. We just hung out, watched over Jude when he woke up around midnight to hang out, and watched tv. It was just my style since I was still tired from those two strong drinks last night.

LUNA

Had a dentist appointment today. It was chill since I had another one a few months ago.

Jansen and I went to Luna to check it out. It was cool. Free before 10:30PM, but we dared not get a drink. It's in Diamond Bar too so it's all good. Tons of Latinas but also tons of dudes.

Then we went to Kitsch bar in Costa Mesa for some drinks. We waited for his friend Jenn to contact us, but apparently, she stopped returning his messages. What the hell happened to her? Oh well, it didn't matter. We just went home.

Surprisingly, those drinks got me wasted at Kitsch. I just had two gin and tonics and I was freakin' drunk.

LOS VERDES GOLF COURSE

I got to Tyler's at 11AM, like he said, and ended up wondering if we were actually going to go. Tyler had overslept, but thank goodness he didn't oversleep so long that he didn't get up. He was up, but it seemed like we were going to be late.

We weren't. We got there six minutes until tee time. For $39, you get to play golf at an LA County course that's not in great shape, but has some great views. The 15 is their signature hole, a tough par 3 that has an awesome view of the Pacific Ocean that is nearly 270 degrees round.

It got cold and the golf got tougher. I shot a 41 on the front and a 46 on the back, mostly because I was making some putts on the front and it seemed like the greens got tougher on the back. That and because I got tired as usual.

I love my Kikkor shoes, but it sits too low and it started to scrape against my ankle bone. By the end of the round, I had some ripped skin. Sucks.

After golf, Tyler took me to a Japanese market in Torrance for some ramen. Ramen is an egg noodle and I got miso stock with the bowl. It was delicious, hot and perfect since Tyler and I were freezing. After I finished it, I told him I'd like to try some udon next time since I love the texture and taste of them.

I got back around 9PM, showered and told Jansen I wouldn't be able to make it out to Kitsch since I was just too tired. Instead, I just played some online poker.

ANGER MANAGEMENT

I drove all the way to Sun Valley for this show that shoots at Tamarack studios. I was surprised that there was vallet, but it was probably because the parking lot was so small.

The studio inside was just inside a big building and it was clean and pretty nice. They had a bunch of sets built already and we hung out until it was time for lunch.

But first, we had to go through an old PA's torture of setting us inside the bar that we were going to work in. It was pretty pointless since we didn't know how the scene was going to be blocked. I think he did it just to waste time before lunch.

Lunch was cool and we got to hang out for about an hour before we were called to set. This show is Charlie Sheen's comeback show and everyone seems to be talking about it. The jokes were the usual making fun of himself for doing drugs sort of thing, but what made the day cool was meeting Ryan who was in the biz for a long time and talked about the glory days and how it's all over now that the two unions have merged.

It was also cool because there were so many hot chicks with big boobs that were cast today. What do you expect? It's Charlie Sheen! I got to talk to Andrea who is a USC grad and a law school grad. She's from Newport Beach and was real nice and it was just her second day working background.

I also saw a Pinay that I'd worked with on Good Luck Charlie. Her name is Loren, but I didn't get a real good chance to talk to her. I will though the next time I see her since I introduced myself when we were all leaving.

TWO BROKE GIRLS

It was the first time I'd been booked on a promo. There are different promos, some aired on tv and others not. I don't think this one is going to air on tv, but who knows? It seemed like they were doing something for media buyers and advertisers.

The worse thing about this rate is that it was $98. What the fuck is that? It's awful is what it is. Fucking AFTRA rates suck dick but it is what it is. Unfortunately, we didn't let go in just a few hours, we got worked pretty much the entire 8 hours.

There was no crafty really. Luckily, I was able to find a breakfast burrito that I had for lunch. But when we got to New York street to actually work, there wasn't shit except water. It sucked. And it was hot in the sun and it was a lot of standing around.

The fun thing was that I got to make contact with the blonde on the show. She hits my arm and the hot dog I'm holding flies in the air. As I got better, I began to throw the dog further and further. The last take had it flying super high and it stayed in the air for awhile too.

We got wrapped around 7PM and there was traffic going home. I ate what moms cooked for dinner. Some fake crab in egg and fried chicken strips that were kind of like the Japanese style pork. I was super sleepy after and just crashed on the couch.

ANGELS V DODGERS

Jansen bought some Goldstar tickets a long time ago for this game in Anaheim. It's the first game of the freeway series. The cool thing is that he got Adrian to go, so he went to the house and I drove us to Jansen's work.

Jansen hooked us up with the tickets. I guess he couldn't find anyone to go? But these were pretty good tickets because they were field level. We parked near the stadium for $5, then blazed. I took a mean hit from the Skywalker that was packed and was out of it for the next few hours.

We waited in the Goldstar pick-up tickets line for a long time because the Angels just weren't prepared to hand out the tickets. They were doing it by hand! Jansen ended up with two extra envelopes and had a bunch of tickets he sold for $60 total. What a deal!

When Adrian and I got inside, I immediately went to get in line for beers. Little did I realize that I had a long way to walk to our seats. I was stupid and that's what bud can make you do.

We had fun at the foul territory area where we could see the right fielder on each team very easily. We were just four rows from the front so they were great seats. We left at the bottom of the 7th though because the Angels were killing the Dodgers and Jansen and I had work the next day.
