KARLOVY VARY
There are moments in time when you wonder how different your life would be if you had made a different choice during the path of your life. One such moment in my life happened when my cousin and I had bought plane tickets to visit the Netherlands together.
We were all set to go. Our flight was scheduled for September 15. Unfortunately, it was the year 2001. After 9-11, we had to cancel our trip. Since then, my cousin and I have vowed to travel to the Netherlands sometime in the future. It will happen - it's just a matter of time.
When we go, I will schedule it for the same time as the Karlovy Vary film festival in the Czech Republic. I just saw it on AMC and never knew it existed. Karlovy Vary is a beautiful city just 80 miles east of Prague. I hope I will make it there before the price of beer gets too high there. From what I've heard, beer is even cheaper than Coke.
